A Breakthrough in Pest Control

Finally. Finally we beat the ants at their own cunning mind games.

Four ant poisons...count them, four, lined the floors of our kitchen. Did they drink? Did they eat? No. But they were merry...maneuvering through our kitchen walls and floorboards. Unseen. Lying in wait for the next dropped chocolate chip. The next smear of peanut butter.

In the end, it was their love of peanut butter, that old temptress, that did them in. Finding still more mouse poop on our counter after the capture of mouse #1, we set a trap coated with peanut butter for #2. On our way out the door, Phil looked at the trap and exclaimed, "Ah!" Ants were pouring out of our wall...to the mouse trap.

"Every poison we have!" I cried, "let's hit them with everything we've got!" Mere hours later an ant smorgasbord of peanut flavored Terro ensues. We've got them where we want them. Go home and tell your friends, ants. You don't mess with the Larsons.

(in other news...support raising materials out tomorrow ::looks pleadingly to heavens::, wedding photographer finally sent pictures out on Friday, move to seminary housing scheduled 1:30 Wednesday, heading to a staff retreat with the Bridge Thursday-Friday, life is great, Phil is good lookin').
