Our house is clean
and the lamps are on
(they make diamonds on the walls)
There are cookies on the counter
and my floors smell like Murphy Oil Soap.
Phil's on the couch
and I'm in this chair
that Hashbrown loves to climb on
until he's on the top cushion
and he rests his head on my shoulder
as he snores.
