A man looked up to the ceiling once and asked if God was up there.
The priest looked at the man and answered, no. He's right here.
Immanuel. God with us.
He is, the author wrote, as near as your breath.
Another image rolling around in there from Christmas is that star in the sky. How many years had those shepherds been looking for it? Had their fathers been looking for it? Had scanning that dark sky for hope become more of a habit than act of faith? And then, boom, there it was. The God who can do anything, DID SOMETHING.
I'm trusting God to be like that...as near as breath and on the move.
